Partnering with PhilaSoup, Samuel B. Huey is hosting its own local soup event to raise funds for student activities & projects.
Haven't heard about the PhilaSoup model yet? It's simple.
1. You pay for a ticket. That ticket money, along with partner donations, creates a grant.
2. At the event, you listen to student groups present proposals, ask follow up questions, then vote for your favorites. Afterward, everyone enjoys soup cooked by community members and/or donated by great local businesses.
3. Student proposals win portions of the grant money based on your votes! Every student receives some of the money.
4. You get to leave with a warm belly and the fuzzy feeling that comes with making cool things happen.
Ticket includes lunch and dessert. All proceeds will go towards the Huey Student Activities Fund and student project funding.
